Scarlett's first major booboo

So I have been researching tricycles or little carts for Scarlett to ride on for some time now and decided on the Radio Flyer pink tricycle. So we were doing a little family shopping today and decided to pick up some things at wally world when I remembered that they do have the tricycle there. And I wanted my baby to try it out. She tried it...she loved it, but I told DH to watch her while I looked at the other things they had...all of the sudden she falls off the tricycle and on to the floor face first. Her mouth was bleeding and since babies have sooo much drool it looked like someone for shot. Of course the bathroom was closed and once she was calm enough for me to check I realized she had a gash on her chin!! Now she really looks like me! It was sooooo sad! But she's ok, back to normal

Picture Princess

Little Girls and girls dresses from shabby baby

Scarlett loves attention. Anything to get all eyes on her. I take as many pictures as I can of her...at least one a day and she is not shy about this. Not only is she a Picture Princess, but she's a princess in all other aspects. Loves jewelry (bracelets are her favorite), hats, and now she's starting to pick out the clothes that she wants to wear. She chooses the dainty things. That's my princess

My 30th and Scarlett's 2nd birthday celebrations

I decided, with the help of no one, that for my 30th birthday I would like to take a vacation. Not a weekend to the beach but I want to fly somewhere that I may need to use my passport. That said...my choices were narrowed down to Puerto Rico (by going here I would visit family and also take my mother with me so she could watch the baby if we want a date night), Costa Rica (beautiful country with lots to do) or a Disney Cruise (I love disney and I think Scarlett would too). So far I'm still debating...I really need to make up my mind before October!

Skip almost a year....

Since Scarlett is 16 months when I'm starting this blog then I'll skip all the pregnancy/birth/first everythings and get right to what she's doing now. Talking and talking and more talking, she knows around 60+ words and their meanings (not just knowing words) she repeats all actions that I do so I try to do a lot of cleaning :-) She is my life

Starting from the beginning

Sometime in january 2007 I got pregnant. That was something I shared with no one until I was 100% this was actually going to be a successful pregnancy. About 2 months into it, major morning, noon and night sickness decided to take major effect. So my husband didn't think I was being a total wuss I finally broke the news to him that I was pregnant at almost 3 months. Needless to say I was sick for 7 months. And so this journey begins....
